Identity Design

Don’t settle for a brand-aid.

Invest in a promise.

Anyone can buy a cheap graphic online, slap their name on it, and call it a logo. That's not branding. Branding is the first impression given to prospective clients, customers, investors, attendees, fans, etc. even before meeting face to face. Your branding makes a promise to your audience, which your services and products fulfill. Every element of your identity design—your logo, fonts, colors, graphics, writing style, photography treatments, and more—sends a message. What does it say?

More than a logo:

A blueprint for all future projects.

Most people know they need a logo, but few realize that a logo is just one small element of their brand. It's important, of course! But I would argue that having a brand guide—and everything it comes with—is even more important.

Brand Guide

A brand guide outlines your company's identity: first, by defining your mission in words; and second, by defining your visual brand, through the different styles, fonts, colors, graphics, photography treatments, and more, that designers will use for your marketing materials. This ensures that no matter who you have working on your design projects, you'll have a streamlined outcome that is consistent with who you are as a company. This saves so much time, money, and hassle down the road, because you don't have to reinvent the wheel every time you have a new project.

Company Beliefs

Unless already in place, I offer carefully-written company beliefs, including a one-sentence mission statement, a short company description, core values, and core beliefs, established by walking you through a series of reflection questions. These inform my development of your visual brand, guide your internal affairs, and can be used indefinitely on your website, social media, brochures, and more.

Brand Assets

Your brand guide offers a PDF outline with instructions on how to brand your materials. You will also receive all the design files necessary to apply them. Depending on the package, this may include vector and PNG logos and/or wordmarks in full color, black, and white versions, installable fonts, patterns or other graphics, textures, photo treatment filters, and more.

Put that branding to good use:

Add on other design projects.

Why outsource to multiple different designers when you can get everything from one source? Once your brand guide is in place, it is so much easier to create a website, business cards, brochures, letterheads, email newsletter templates, social media graphics, and more—all of which I am capable of doing for you. These smaller projects are exclusively available to existing Branding and Website clients, and you can tack them onto a branding package to get them for a highly-discounted price.
