Not everyone is ready to drop $5k+ on their brand image for their small business startup; but you probably know that you’re going to need at the very least a logo to stand out among the well-branded crowd. I don’t believe in cutting corners, but I do believe in finding unique solutions within difficult parameters. This recycled logo was originally intended for a Christian homeschooling academy, which would use the graphic to brand diplomas, grades, and other official documents produced by the school. The badge contains space for both your business name and a tagline, founded date, or scripture verse. The imagery contains two major symbols: an owl and a lily. The owl is a symbol of wisdom and knowledge, while the lily represents purity. If these don’t fit the bill for you, the two have other possible meanings as well. Owls can represent time, transition, change, protection, intuition, magic, or—in some cases—death. The lily can represent devotion, rebirth, motherhood, love, and good luck. It is recommended therefore that this logo be used for educational institutions, charities or fundraisers, vision-related medicine, nature preservation, or funeral homes.
